HLY Software operates the Lineage XI marketing website. For privacy enquiries relating to this website, contact info@hly-software.co.uk.
Information we collect
We only ask for information that is relevant to operating the marketing website and responding to enquiries. This can include:
- your name;
- your football club or organisation;
- your email address;
- an optional telephone number;
- the Lineage XI areas you are interested in;
- information you choose to include in a demo request or enquiry; and
- technical information recorded in normal web-server security and access logs.
How we use that information
We use enquiry information to respond to you, arrange or tailor a product demonstration, understand the needs of prospective customers, protect the website from abuse, and maintain appropriate business records.
If you choose to allow Analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the marketing website is used. This can include page visits, session statistics, approximate geographic information, and general browser and device information. Google Analytics is not loaded until Analytics consent is granted through the site's preference centre.
Lawful basis
Depending on the interaction, processing may be necessary to respond to steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, or may be based on HLY Software's legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating a secure product website. Optional non-essential tracking will be handled separately through consent where required.
Google Analytics and advertising preferences
The website separates optional Google Analytics from optional Google advertising consent. If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics may process website-usage information. If you also allow Google advertising, the website may send Google consent signals permitting advertising measurement and personalisation features used by connected Google services.
No Google tag is loaded before you explicitly allow Analytics. You can change either optional preference at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be processed by service providers used to host the website, provide email services, maintain infrastructure or support normal business operations. If you enable Analytics, usage information is also processed through Google Analytics. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and correspondence information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, the resulting business relationship, legitimate record keeping, or applicable legal obligations. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting and security arrangements in use at the time.
Your rights
UK data-protection law can provide rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, depending on the circumstances. You can contact us at info@hly-software.co.uk to exercise an applicable right.
You can also raise a concern with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your personal information has been handled unlawfully.
Children
The Lineage XI product can support clubs that work with children, but this public marketing website and its demo form are not intended to collect information about children. Please do not include player medical, safeguarding or other sensitive child information in a demo request.
Website security and bot protection
The demo-request form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Turnstile performs security checks using information about the browser and request that is necessary to provide the anti-bot service. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not access, store or transmit the contents of the demo form itself.
Turnstile is used for website and form security rather than advertising or audience measurement, so it operates independently of the optional Analytics preference.
